A PLACE TO BEGIN

Start here

You do not need to learn OW64 before finding something useful here.

01 / ORE

Gather

Read and observe. Find material worth working with.

02 / STRIKES

Build

Write, code, and build. Put an idea to the test.

03 / TEMPER

Reflect

Learn from friction. Adjust the judgment and the work.

04 / BLADES

Refine

Use it, refine it, and keep what proves useful.

Available now: essays, two principles, and the FreshRSS case. “Blades” describes work to keep refining; no finished product catalogue is claimed here.

What I am trying to do

I call this practice Lifesmithing: start with what matters, turn knowledge into decisions and action, then revise in response to results. AI helps me organize material, build tools, and handle repetitive work. What is worth doing, and what the results mean, remain my decisions.

From ore to something useful

Ore is material drawn from reading and observation. Strikes are ideas put to work. Temper is reflection after friction and failure. Blades are useful works refined through repeated use. Principles guide the whole process and change with experience.

Where OW64 fits

OW64 is the framework I use internally to organize knowledge, action, and reflection. This site shares useful outcomes and experiences without requiring readers to adopt the entire system.
